Whether you are a Gringo or not, you are very welcome to my webpage and project Che Gringo.
I’m Karin, a Swedish gringo/a. A rainy morning in august I took my first steps on Argentinean ground. Since then, I’m in love with this crazy, chaotic and beautiful city.
With a little help of a mini map La Guia T, I think you know perfectly which one I’m talking about, an Argentinean brother and a borrowed bicycle, I’ve got to learned this city. I went everywhere, talked to people, took the train, saw theatre, movies, I worked in a Restaurant, I went to see Tango, and not just any Tango.
I want to show you the real people and all the things behind this city.
Because I think that that’s what you will remember the most. The things that moves you, touches you, makes you laugh and cry. All those things exist here. But they exist behind all the typical that the angry and stressed guide want to show you.
Have you tasted a real asado? A real real one. In the house of an actual porteño, and not in a restaurant. With the whole family and all the dogs.
Or seen a real cemetery?
Have you bicycled around the whole city? Or eaten a choripan in the south coast?
